03.01.2016 Epiphany of the Lord
1. Today we are celebrating the feast of Epiphany of our Lord. We extend the good wishes of the feast to all of you.
2. Today’s offertory collection is earmarked for Retired Priests Fund.
3. This evening the Diocesan Eucharistic Procession will begin with Mass at 3.30p.m in the Milagres Church. It will end at Rosario with Sermon and Benediction
-Let us all join together as one family and welcome all our guests who enter our church premises with love and affection.
-All the Altar Boys must join the Procession from Milagres Church.
4. The Volunteers name list is displayed on the notice board, near the car shed. We request all of the volunteers to cooperate and make the celebration a successful one.
5. We request your helping hand and generous contribution towards expenses of Diocesan Eucharistic Procession.
6. Programme of this Week:
-Communion will be brought to sick on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
-On Wednesday there will be meeting of Ladies Social Service League.
-On Friday, at 8.45am there will be Mass for the school children.
-Next Friday & Sunday’s Liturgy will be animated by the Religious Sisters.
7. Next Sunday there will be four celebrations. There will be only one Mass in Konkani at 8.00 am.
-First, the feast of Baptism of our Lord.
-Second, Installation of Saints Statue of Juze Vaz and Maria Baouardy
-Third, Day of Religious.
-Fourth, Release of new film on Juze Vaz and a Premier show at 6.00p.m in our Church grounds.
-For all the above morning Mass and evening function the Bishop will the main celebrant.
-On Next Sunday the Religious Sisters of our Parish will have get-together after the Mass. It will end in the noon. We invite all the Religious Sisters to join the Mass and thereafter for the Session. V. Rev Pius D’Souza, the Episcopal Vicar for the Religious will participate in the get-together.
8.Other Matters:
-The monthly Church Bulletin is ready. We request Gurkar/Ward Representatives to distribute to their respective wards.
-Next Monday onwards we will begin the House Blessings of our Parish. Details are given in the Ruzachi Laram. This week the follow houses will be Blessed.

RIP: Mrs. Cocess Monteiro, aged 93, M/o. Leena and Philomena Monteiro, of St Antony Ward, expired on 30th December; the funeral rite took place on 31st, Thursday at Jeppu Cemetery.
