The feast of Our Lady of Lourdes was celebrated on Feb 09th 2014.  The prayer service began with reciting Rosary to Our Lady in front of the Grotto.  Biblical passages were read before each mystery.  Rev. Fr. Andrew D’Souza the Parish Priest of Pakshikere Church was the main preacher of the day.  During his homily he said that the power of healing of Jesus was so powerful.  He explained many healing episodes of Jesus from the Gospel.  He also said only the faith that we have would heal every sickness of our body and soul.  He also explained how Mother Mary lived a life of faith and she is a great in spiritual to all of us. 

After their service Fr Andrew D’Souza, Fr. J. B. Crasta, Fr. Amith Rodrigues laid hands on all people gathered.  On this occasion rosary was freely distributed to all the devotees.  The people of Lourdes ward gathered in a large number.  The refreshments of Lourdes Ward conducted the Rosary.  The choir led by Mr. Antony D’Silva and team sang melodious hymns.  

During the service Mr. John Lobo compared the programme.
