Celebration of the Rosary kindergarten and Rosario English Medium Higher Primary School

A two days event on the occasion of Childrens day was organized in the Rosario Cultural Hall.

On 15th November, under the guidance of the administrator Rev Fr Vinod Lobo, the Headmistress Mrs. Jeanette Fernandes and the PT teacher Mrs. Felcine Rego, Sports competition was held to the students from LKG to 7th Std. It started at 9.15am in the Rosario Cultural Hall. Class teachers accompanied the children. Various sports such as passing the ball, book balance, passing the cap, four corner game, musical arms, musical chairs, passing the loops, hopping race were conducted. The children enthusiastically took part in the sports. As they were playing cheers mounted up. All the students enjoyed the event.

The cultural programme was held the next day i.e., 16th November. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by the invocation led by the Headmistress Mrs. Jeanette Fernandes. She welcomed the gathering.

Class wise variety entertainment competitions were held. Children exhibited their talents and skills with the guidance of the class teacher. It was a pleasure to see the involvement of all the students. Mrs. Elizabeth Roche, Mrs. Anitha D’Souza and the Administrator Rev Fr Vinod Lobo judged the competition. Prizes for the winners in the games and the winners of the variety entertainment programme were distributed by the Correspondent Rev Fr Alfred J Pinto. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Mrs. Mayzita Menezes.
