The liturgical seminar for the liturgical animators of the Holy Rosary Cathedral was held on Sunday 2nd November 2014 at Rosario Cultural hall. The seminar was conducted by Rev Fr Vijai Machado, the Director of DBCL. 

There were 120 participants from 14 wards. Rev Fr Vijay Machado explained the Church document on Liturgy. He explained objectives of the Roman Catholics Liturgy. He also said that very person must know the basics of the liturgy so that he or she can take part in the liturgy meaningful. During the seminar he explained the various parts of the Eucharist and taught how to take active part in the liturgy. 

The second part of the seminar was a practical session. Fr Vijay Machado explained the how to prepare the Introduction to the mass and the prayers of the Faithful. He also explained how to choose hymns and the role of the choir in the Sacred Liturgy. He also stressed the importance of taking part in the liturgy by the congregation. At the end of the seminar he encouraged and formed liturgical animators in each ward.

The seminar was one of the programme of the Jubilee of the Cathedral Building. Rev Fr Amith Rodrigues compared the whole programme. Fr JB Crasta the parish priest prepared the opening prayer and introduced Fr Vijay Machado to the participants. Mr Dolphy D Souza the vice president proposed the vote of thanks. During the evaluation of the seminar few participants expressed that the time given to the seminar was short. Hence it was decided to have follow up seminar latter days. Other suggested that the content of the seminar must be explained to all the people during the Sunday Masses. The seminar ended with lunch at 1.pm.
