St Anthony ward -Nativity Feast celebration

On Sunday 10th September 2023 feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Vergin Mary was celebrated in St Anthony ward at 6. 30 pm at Mr . William D'souza s house, Subash Nagar. Mrs Rita D'souza ward Gurkar welcomed the gathering. Novena was conducted by Sr. Celine D'Sa and other sisters of Ursula convent. All the ward members participated in the novena and offered flowers to mother Mary. Assistant Parish priest fr Vinod Lobo blessed the payasam with the new corn and it was distributed to all the ward members. We also wished Fr Vinod Lobo and Sr. Celine on their birthday by cutting the cake and singing the birthday song. Different games were conducted by Sr Celine and her team, prizes were given to the winners. Housie -Housie was enjoyed by the ward members. Mr Binoy D'Silva the ward representative conducted the whole program. Mrs Rita D’Souza gave the vote of thanks. The dinner with thirteen different types of dishes prepared by the ward members which was enjoyed by all.
