In preparation to the Annual Feast of Our Lady of the Hoy Rosary Cathedral, Mangalore, the CONFRATERNITY SUNDAY was celebrated on 27th September 2015. The holy Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr Vijay Victor Lobo, Director of Sandesha the Regional Centre for the Communication of the Bishops’ of Karnataka. 

Fr Vijay said in his homily that the Eucharist is the centre of our Christian life. The Eucharist binds us together in family and at large at the Parish Community. He also conducted the praise and worship. Many Faithful shared their sentiments through their prayers.

 The Eucharistic procession was led by Fr Vijay. All the people gathered took part in the procession. The Holy Eucharist was carried in a vehicle and decorated by Mr Steeven Fernandes and his team. 

The Vice-President, Secretary and the members of Parish Pastoral Parishad assisted to conduct the procession. The liturgy was animated by the ward members of St Ignatius. The Church Choir sang melodious hymns during the Mass and the procession.

Rev Frs. J.B.Crasta, Paul Sebastian D’ Souza, Rocky Fernandes and Vincent D’ Souza concelebrated at the Eucharist. Mrs Ida Furtado introduced the theme of the day and the vicar thanked the entire congregation for their active participation.
