On 17, April 2016, eleven Children of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cathedral, received First Holy Communion. Msgr. Dennis Moras Prabhu, Vicar General of Mangalore Diocese, presided over the Holy Eucharist. Fr. J.B. Crasta, Vicar of Cathedral, Fr Jerome D’Souza, Principal of Pompei PU College, Kirem, Fr Paul D’Souza, Assistant Vicar of Cathedral, Fr Vincent D’Souza, Principal of Rosario PU College, Fr Gratian Alvares, Rector of Minor Seminary, concelebrated at the mass. 

The meaningful Liturgy and the beautiful ceremony were witnessed by the parents of First Holy Communion receivers, parishioners and a large number faithful. We thank Mrs. Mary Pinto, St Paul Ward, for her service to train the Children. We congratulate all the children, who received Jesus for the first time in their life.
