Meaning of Holy Week "Holy and Great Week" in Christianity is the week just before Easter. In the west, it is also the last week of Lent, and includes Palm Sunday, Holy Wednesday (Spy Wednesday), Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday), Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. It does not include Easter Sunday, which is the beginning of another liturgical week.
All three days the Bishop of Mangalore presided the ceremony of the Holy Week. He washed the feet of the twelve men. He actively participated in the Way of the Cross on Friday conducted by the youth. On Good Friday he led the liturgy of the Passion of Christ. On Holy Saturday the Bishop was the main celebrant. More about it kindly look at the pictures.
